Norfolk Will Help is a project which supports five of Norfolk’s charities and to date has raised over £15,000. The scheme runs throughout February 2020 and enables members of the public to have a basic will written in return for a suggested donation which is split equally between Age UK Norwich, BIg C, Keeping Abreast, Nelson’s Journey and Vision Norfolk.
We are extremely grateful to Norfolk based solicitors and will writers who have donated appointments to the scheme.
Norfolk WILL Help was developed by Norfolk’s child bereavement charity, Nelson’s Journey. They wanted to develop a locally focused will writing scheme which enabled Norfolk residents to have their basic wills written in return for a donation that would be split equally between five charities who benefit the local community. All funds raised are passed to the four charities to support their work in the Norfolk community.

Nelson's Journey developed Norfolk WILL Help and wished to work with a range of other charities who also support those living in Norfolk. All those who support Norfolk WILL Help either by donating appointments or having their wills written will be improving the lives of people living in the County.
Age UK Norwich is dedicated to making later life the best it can be for anyone aged 50+. They are here to listen, support, advise and help you or your family stay independent, active and healthy and they do this through their advice and welfare support services, activity groups and clubs, befriending schemes and dementia day care centre.
The Norfolk charity helps 20,000 people with poor sight remain independent and confident. Sight loss affects all age groups and the Association supports everyone from new born to those over 100 years of age. Last year our community workers made nearly 7,000 separate visits to individuals in their homes and there were over 6,000 visitors to the five equipment centres in Norwich, King's Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Cromer, Watton and our Mobile Centre. Reg. Charity No. 207060.
Every year more than 8000 people in Norfolk and Waveney are told the news that they have cancer, and many more are living with the effects every day. Since 1980 Big C has been dedicated to the fight against cancer and today we help the thousands of people affected, across our county, while working to improve future outcomes. Our work focuses on four key areas - supporting people affected by cancer, funding world-class local research into cancer, providing vital medical equipment and facilities in the county’s main hospitals and educating local people about cancer for the future. Registered Charity No. 281730.
Keeping Abreast offer 'patient led' support for women following a breast cancer diagnosis or the discovery of a breast cancer gene, who are considering or undergoing breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Providing women and their families the opportunity to talk to others who have faced a similar path, and to see surgery results in the Show and Tell sessions which prove invaluable when they have no choice but to make extremely difficult and emotional decisions.
